Devsun Buildcon is based out of Plot Number 17 in the Harijan Basti area, which is right near the famous Ram Phal Chowk. If you have ever been around Sector 7, you know that area is always buzzing with activity and people. Our spot is a bit tucked away, but it is where all the main decisions for our construction projects get made. The office is pretty functional and we don't spend money on things we don't need. It’s mostly just a place to keep the records and meet with the site supervisors. There is usually a bit of dust on the windows because of all the building work happening nearby, but that’s just life in this industry. We spend a lot of time checking on Khata numbers and land plots like 31/24/17/14. It sounds very technical and sometimes it is a real headache to keep it all straight. We are a small crew and we do most of the heavy lifting ourselves when it comes to the planning and management. Being near the chowk is handy for getting a quick bite or meeting someone for a chat about a new project. We don't really have a corporate culture or anything like that. We just come in, do the work that needs to be done, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a simple way of running things and it works for us.
