Arogya Dhamma Seva Sansthan

You can find us on Bansi Road in Old Basti, right near Pandey Bazar. It’s a very old part of town with narrow streets and lots of shops. Arogya Dhamma Seva Sansthan is tucked away in a building that’s seen better days. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow, so you have to watch your step. Inside, we have a couple of rooms with high ceilings. The plaster is coming off in some spots, but it doesn't bother us. We have a big window that looks out onto the street. It’s always interesting to watch the rickshaws and people moving about below. The market noise comes right through the glass. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment. Just some tables, a few chairs, and a shelf full of old files. We use a lot of blue ink pens. The electricity stays on most of the time, which is good. We’ve got a small kitchenette in the back where we boil water for tea. It’s a very practical space. We don’t spend money on decorations or carpets. Most of the folks who come by are from the nearby neighborhoods. They know the building well. It’s a busy place but we try to keep our corner organized. Everything has its place, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider.
