We’re over at House Number 66 in Duncan Basti, right across from the IOC Court Junction. That’s where ACT EAST VENTURES & CONSULTANTS PRIVATE LIMITED is based. It’s a busy little area. The junction always has something going on, which makes the office feel lively. We’ve been here for a good amount of time. Our space is just a regular house that we’ve converted for our consulting work. It feels more comfortable than a cold office building. We have a kitchen where we make way too much coffee every day. Our work involves helping people with their ventures and giving advice where we can. We aren't experts who think they know everything. We just have a lot of experience and we use that to help others avoid the mistakes we made. It’s a small team, just a handful of us sitting around a big table. We don't have separate cubicles because we like to be able to talk to each other without shouting. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog barks during our meetings, but we just laugh it off. That’s the reality of working in a residential area. We don't have a fancy lobby or a guy in a uniform at the door. You just ring the bell and come in. We’re straightforward people doing straightforward work. It’s not always glamorous, but it’s honest. We like being part of Duncan Basti and the local community here.
