You can find us over on Bastar Road, right behind the Kaltax Petrol Pump. We use a space in Mr. Savindar Singh Khalsa’s house, which is J 306. It’s a very busy spot because of all the cars and trucks coming and going from the pump. The noise can be a lot sometimes, but you get used to it after a while. Sitaram Memorial Education And Welfare Foundation is something we put together to try and help with local schooling and general welfare. We aren't a big school ourselves, just an office in a house. We have a couple of desks and some old chairs where we sit and talk to anyone who comes by. It’s a very informal setup. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Most of the time, we’re just in our regular clothes, drinking tea and trying to sort through whatever problems people bring to us. Bastar Road is a main artery, so we see all kinds of people. It’s a good place to be if you want to know what’s actually happening in the area. We don’t have any big corporate backers or any of those fancy slogans you see in big offices. We just want to see the kids around here get a better chance. It’s hard work and the days can be long, but we just keep plugging away at it from our little spot behind the gas station.
