Mahadev Foods

You can find Mahadev Foods right across from the P.D. Company on Bastar Road. It’s a busy stretch of road with lots of vehicles moving back and forth. Our building is a simple structure where we handle all our food processing tasks. We’ve been here for a few years now, and it’s become our second home. Inside, it’s mostly workspace with a small area for keeping records. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. When you walk in, you see the actual work happening. We focus on local ingredients and try to keep things as straightforward as possible. There are about five of us who work here regularly. We start our day early before the traffic on Bastar Road gets too heavy. The smell of the food we are working with usually fills the air around the shop. We don’t do any big advertising. Usually, people just see our sign or hear about us from someone else in the area. It’s a small-scale operation, but it keeps us on our toes. We have to be careful with the storage to keep everything fresh. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to spend the afternoon fixing it instead of producing. That’s just part of the trade. We aren't looking to become a giant corporation. We just want to keep our little spot on Bastar Road running smoothly and provide for our families. It is a good life for us here.
