Delhi Public School

We’ve been here at Delhi Public School on Dharmpura Road in Jagdalpur for quite some time now. Every morning starts with the same sound of rickshaws and parents dropping off their kids at the main gate. It gets a bit noisy around 8 AM, but that is just how things go here. The building itself has seen a lot of seasons. We spend most of our day making sure the classrooms are ready and that the kids have what they need for their lessons. Jagdalpur has its own pace, and we definitely feel that here. Some days the fans are running full speed because of the heat, and other days it is quite nice outside. We have teachers who have been with us for years, just walking the hallways and keeping an eye on things. It isn't anything fancy, just a place where students come to sit at their desks and learn their subjects. You will see us around the 494001 area, usually busy with some paperwork or fixing a broken chair in one of the rooms. The playground gets a lot of use during the lunch breaks. We try to keep the gardens looking decent, though the sun makes it hard sometimes. People know us as the school on the way to the main part of town. It’s a busy spot, but we manage to get through the syllabus every year without too much fuss. Just a regular school day for all of us.
