Nakod Traders

Nakod Traders is located in the Nakod Complex on Mondha Road in Basmath. We’re out here in the Hingoli district, which is a bit of a drive from the bigger cities. The complex is a central spot for many people in town. We spend our days dealing with various supplies that farmers and local builders often need. The rhythm of the shop depends a lot on the seasons and what's happening in the fields nearby. When it's harvest time, things get really hectic and we barely have time to sit down. Other times, it's quiet enough to have a long chat with whoever stops by for a few items. We keep our records in big thick books and try to stay on top of the stock levels so we don't run out of the basics. The building can get pretty warm in the afternoons, so we usually keep the big front doors wide open to catch any breeze from the road. It’s a family-run kind of place, where everyone knows what needs to be done without being told. We aren't big on fancy displays; we just put the items where people can reach them. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the roads, but we manage. It’s just a regular business serving the local community here in Basmath. We’ve been at this for a while and don't plan on changing much about how we work day to day for the foreseeable future.
