Mukherjee Enterprise

Mukherjee Enterprise is our little business based in Goalpota. We are located near Martin Burn Road in the North 24 Parganas district. It’s a typical local setup where we handle various trade and service jobs that come our way. The area around here is quite green, especially after it rains, but the roads can get a bit muddy. Our office is just a simple room with some chairs and a desk where we keep all the ledgers. We don’t really believe in using computers for everything, so there’s a lot of handwritten paperwork lying around. People from the village and the nearby towns come to us when they need help with certain supplies or local services. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll often see one of us drinking tea and chatting with a customer for an hour before any business actually gets done. Martin Burn Road is the main way to get here, and everyone knows where it is. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a sales team. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here a long time and people trust us to be fair. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down.
