Baburam Farmer Producer Company Limited

Baburam Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in the village of Kirtanpur, over in the Tendwa Basantpur area. We are located at Baburam Tiwari’s house. This isn't some big corporate setup with a lot of staff. It’s just a group of us farmers who live around here. We decided to form this company so we could have a better way to buy what we need and sell what we grow. It’s hard to be a small farmer these days, so sticking together is the only way that makes sense. We don't have a website or any promotional materials. If you want to find us, you just come to Kirtanpur and look for Baburam’s place. We spend a lot of time talking about the crops and the markets. It’s all very informal. We wear our everyday clothes and meet up whenever there’s something important to decide. We’re all neighbors and we help each other out whenever someone has a problem. We aren't experts at writing about ourselves, but the main thing is that we’re just local people working the land. We want to make sure our farms stay in good shape and that we can earn enough to keep going. It’s just simple, local farming business done by local people who care about the village. There is no extra fluff to it.
