We are based out of unit 102 in Industrial Area No.1 in Pithampur. It’s a big space because you need a lot of room when you’re dealing with commercial vehicles. There are always chassis and engines being moved around the floor. It can get pretty chaotic during the middle of the shift with all the different parts coming in. We’ve got a lot of people working here, and it’s a long walk from one end of the shop to the other. Pithampur is quite a distance from the main city, so most of us are used to the long commute every morning. We don’t use those polished sales pitches you hear from big city offices. We just show the vehicles and how they are built. The yard is usually packed with trucks in various stages of being finished. Some are just frames and some are ready to go. It’s a lot of grease and heavy lifting. We spend a lot of time checking the bolts and making sure everything is tight. The air smells like oil and tires most of the time. It’s a tough environment but we’ve got a routine that works for us. We just try to get the vehicles out the gate so the drivers can get to work. It’s a massive operation, but we try to keep things as simple as possible on the floor and in the yard.
