Shri Sai Hospital

Shri Sai Hospital is located right opposite the Agriculture Mandi. If you’ve ever been to the Mandi in the early morning, you know how busy and loud it gets with all the farmers and traders bringing in their goods. We are right in the middle of all that activity. Because of where we are, we see a lot of people who work in the markets. They come in with all sorts of things, from minor cuts to more serious health issues. The hospital itself is a straightforward building. We have the reception area right as you walk in, and then the corridors lead off to the different patient rooms. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the market is in full swing, but we’ve gotten used to the noise of the trucks and the shouting. We keep our rooms as clean as possible, though the mud from the market sometimes finds its way in on people's shoes. We have a small group of doctors and nurses who have been working here for years. They know the rhythm of the Mandi. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do. We just open up, see the patients, and help them out. It’s a very grounded, local way of working. Most of our patients are people we see every day at the market. It’s a tight community and we like being right in the heart of it. We just take it day by day.
