Lajawab Gruh Udhyog

We are located in Bhikangaon Village, which is part of the Bhikangaon Tehsil in the Khargone district. Our place, Lajawab Gruh Udhyog, is right near the Union Bank of India, so people often see us when they are going to do their banking. It’s a small setup where we make things by hand. The Khargone heat can be really intense, so we try to get most of the heavy work done in the early morning before the sun gets too high. There are a few of us working here, mostly just local people from the village. It’s not a factory or anything like that, just a small unit where we do everything from scratch. Sometimes the supplies we need get delayed, and we have to wait around, which can be annoying when we have orders to finish. The building is old and the floor is cracked in a few places, but it stays relatively cool inside because of the thick walls. We spend a lot of time packaging things up and making sure they are ready for transport. The Union Bank is a good neighbor to have because there are always people around. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything; we just rely on people hearing about us from their friends and family. It’s honest work, and it keeps the kitchen fires burning for the families involved in the business here in the village.
