The Merlin Group is over in Kolkata. Our address is B/11, Gostotala New Scheme in Kamdahari, Garia. The pin code is 700084. Garia is at the edge of the city, so it has a mix of the old Kolkata feel and new developments. The Gostotala New Scheme area is quite tucked away. Our office isn’t a grand palace. It’s a functional space where we manage our business affairs. There are stacks of files and some old wooden furniture that has seen better days. It’s a place where real work happens. Kolkata can get very humid, so we are used to that. The neighborhood is quite residential, so it’s not as loud as the central business district. You can hear the local fishmongers or the rickshaws passing by sometimes. We are a group of people who just like to get things done. We don't use fancy corporate talk or try to impress anyone with marketing. We’ve been here in Kamdahari for a while and people in the area know us. It’s a very grounded way to operate. We don't have a big HR department or a PR team. It’s just us, sitting at our desks, handling the paperwork and the phone calls. We value the fact that we are a local business in a real neighborhood. It’s not perfect, but it’s where we do our best work. It keeps us busy and connected to the city.
