Glaze Architecture Private Limited is tucked away at B-6/75 on New Union Board Road. This part of Jalkhura in Maheshtala is usually a bit chaotic with people moving around and the local shops doing their thing. We find ourselves spending most of our days here looking at plans and trying to keep things organized. The building isn't new, but it works for what we need. There is a lot of noise from the street outside, mainly the horns from the vehicles passing by on the way to the main road. Sometimes we have to close the windows just to hear each other talk. Maheshtala has changed a lot over the years, more buildings going up every time you look. We have a small crew and we all know the routine by now. The stairs up to B-6/75 are a bit narrow, so carrying big rolls of paper up there can be a bit of a challenge. It is just a regular office space where we sit and work. There is a small shop nearby where we get our snacks. It is not a glamorous setup, but it is where we are. We see the same faces every day walking down New Union Board Road. It feels like a community in a way, even if everyone is just busy with their own tasks. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. We usually lock up around six and head home.
