Lajbantir Heshel

You can find us at B 32 New Scheme, right by the Gostatala Bandhumahal Club in Garia. It’s a lively neighborhood and we’re right in the middle of it. Our kitchen stays busy from early morning until the evening. We do a lot of traditional cooking here. It’s the kind of food we grew up eating. There’s always a pot of something bubbling on the stove. The space isn’t huge, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time cleaning vegetables and sorting through lentils. The club nearby always has something going on, so there’s a lot of noise and energy in the air. We don’t use any fancy equipment, just the usual pots and pans. It gets a bit hot when all the burners are going at once. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. Everyone in the kitchen has their own way of doing things, but it all comes together. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the smell of good food drifting out the door. People from the New Scheme area stop by to see what we've made for the day. It’s a simple life, cooking and serving the local crowd. We just want to make sure the food tastes right and the plates are full. That’s what Lajbantir Heshel is all about. Sometimes the delivery guys have to wait a bit, but we try our best to stay on schedule.
