It isn't a quiet office by any means. There is always the sound of rickshaws and cars outside. The ATM nearby brings a lot of foot traffic past our door, so we see a lot of different faces every day. We are just local people doing interior work for other local people. We don't have a big corporate setup. It’s more about the samples and the drawings scattered around the workspace. Sometimes the heat in Kolkata makes the afternoons a bit slow, but we keep at it. Being near the UCO Bank makes it easy to give directions to anyone coming from another part of the city. We just open up and see what the day brings. Most of our work comes from word of mouth around Garia and the nearby neighborhoods. It’s a busy life on Kendua Main Road. We just keep the door open and stay focused on our plans.
