Exomet Products

We have been based at 185, S. N. Ghosh Avenue for a good number of years now. Narendrapur is an interesting part of 24 Parganas (South) to work in. It is not exactly in the middle of everything, but it has its own rhythm that we have grown to like, I suppose. Some mornings, the traffic along Ghosh Avenue is quite heavy, but you just learn to plan around it. The building here is where Exomet Products does all its daily work. It is a very practical space. We haven't spent much on fancy decorations or anything like that because it just doesn't seem necessary for what we do. We spend most of our time inside these walls. The weather gets really humid during the summer months, which makes the fans work extra hard. Most of the people who work here live in the surrounding area, so we are all pretty familiar with the neighborhood. We have seen the small shops nearby change hands a few times. It is just a normal workplace. You might actually walk right past the entrance if you aren't paying attention, as the street can get a bit cluttered with parked bikes and people walking. We like being here because it feels like a real community. Sometimes we get tea from the stall just down the road when we need a break from the desk. It is all part of the daily routine. Being in South 24 Parganas gives us the space we need.
