Warana Hospital

Being in Warana means that just about everyone around here knows where the hospital is. It has become a regular part of the landscape over the years. We have been part of this community for a long time, and we see a bit of everything throughout a normal day. People come in from the surrounding farms and the smaller village areas nearby. It is a functional building, nothing too flashy or modern, but it does exactly what it needs to do for the local folks. We have the usual wards and a small area set aside for emergencies that come in. The staff mostly lives in the surrounding area, so we all know each other well and sometimes we know the patients too. It can be very quiet early in the morning, but then the rush starts as people finish their morning chores and head into town. We deal with everything from broken bones to fevers and the occasional birth. It is a lot of work keeping up with the maintenance of an older place like this. There is almost always a light on somewhere in the building, no matter the hour. We try to keep the hallways clear and the rooms ready for whoever might show up. It can be a bit noisy when families come to visit, but we don't mind that much. It is just how things are in a place like Warana.
