Sangmeshwar Bricks

We are located over at 3525, Raul Lane. Tal-Barshi is a busy place, and Sangmeshwar Bricks has been part of it for a bit. Being in Dist-Solapur, the soil is okay for what we do. It’s mostly just us working the yard every day. Bricks take a long time to get right. You have to mix the mud just so, then let them sit in the sun. If it rains, we have to cover everything fast with plastic sheets. It can be a real scramble. Raul Lane isn't that big, so we have to be careful with the trucks coming in and out. Neighbors sometimes complain about the dust, but we try to keep it down. Making bricks is old-fashioned work. We don't have fancy machines. It’s mostly hands and shovels. We get tired by the end of the day. Sangmeshwar Bricks is just a local spot for local builders. Most people just stop by the lane to see what we have ready. We don't have a website or anything like that. Just the stacks of red bricks sitting there. Sometimes the kilns don't get hot enough and we lose a batch. That's just part of the risk. We keep going though. It’s a steady job. People always need to build something. We see a lot of tractors coming through to pick up orders for the nearby villages. It is hard work, but we are used to it. The sun gets hot in Solapur, but we just keep at it.
