Najmi Ply & Hardware

Najmi Ply & Hardware is situated at Plot No.-98 in Mangalvar Pet. We are over in the Mangiremara area, right near Bohra Colony here in Solapur. It’s a busy neighborhood and we get a lot of people stopping by who are just starting to build their homes or maybe just fixing a broken cupboard. We stock all sorts of plywood, different thicknesses and types, and then we have the hardware section with all the hinges, handles, and screws. The shop smells like fresh wood most of the time, which is something I’ve grown to like. It can get a bit crowded inside when we have a big shipment of boards coming in, and we have to shuffle things around to make space. We aren't really into the high-tech stuff; we mostly just use a notebook to keep track of what people owe and what we need to order. Dealing with the heat in Solapur can be a challenge, so we have a couple of big fans running all day long. We know most of the carpenters around here by name since they’re in and out every other day. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there’s usually someone around to help out even if it’s during lunch. We don't have a website or anything, just the shop front where we wait for customers to come in and tell us what they’re looking for. It is a simple life but it keeps us going.
