Kulkarni Hospital

Out here in Malsiras, things move at a bit of a different pace than the big cities. We are located right at the Post in the Taluka, so everybody knows where we are. It’s a small place, but it's important for the folks living around here who don't want to travel all the way to a big hospital for every little thing. We started this because we saw how far people had to go just for a basic check-up. The building is simple, and we spend most of our time just talking to the people who walk in. A lot of our patients are farmers or people from the local shops. We know their names and their families, which makes the work feel a bit more personal. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the rain makes the roads a bit messy, but we stay open anyway. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. It’s just us answering the phones and seeing whoever comes through the door. It gets a bit crowded on market days when everyone is in town, so we try to be ready for the rush. We keep things straightforward here. There’s no big fancy lobby, just chairs and a desk where we handle the paperwork. It works for us and it works for the community. We've been part of Malsiras for a long time and hope to stay right here at the post for many more years to come.
