About Cabin Flour Oil Mill – Food & Beverages in Barshi
Our mill is right in the village of Deoni, not far from the main bus stop. It’s a handy location because everyone passes by the bus stop eventually. We’ve got the flour mill and the oil press running most days. It gets pretty loud when both machines are going at once, and the whole place smells like fresh ground grain and pressed seeds. It’s a small operation, just a basic shed with the machinery we need. People from the surrounding farms bring their wheat and oilseeds to us. We’ve known most of our customers since they were kids. It’s the kind of place where people hang around and chat while they wait for their flour to be ready. We don't have any fancy office or a waiting room, just a couple of wooden benches outside under the awning. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common out here in the Taluka, and we just have to wait it out until things come back on. My son helps me run the machines, and my wife handles the weighing and the cash. It’s a family business through and through. We don't try to compete with the big commercial mills; we just serve our local village. The equipment is old but we keep it well-oiled and it does the job. As long as the villagers are happy with the quality, we’ll keep the machines running every morning.
