Ridhima Store

Ridhima Store is located right on East Ghosh Para Road in the Kelabagan area. It’s a familiar spot for anyone living around Jagatdal. Being so close to the jute industry means we see a lot of the workers coming and going every single day. The store isn't very large, but we try to keep the shelves filled with whatever people might need. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when a lot of customers come in at once. We’ve got bags of rice stacked in the corner and various daily items scattered around. The dust from the road comes in whenever the door is open, so we are always wiping things down. It’s just how it is in this part of town. We don't have a fancy checkout system, just a notepad and a calculator. It works for us. The post office is nearby too, which makes it a busy little corner. You can hear the sounds from the jute mills in the background most of the time. It’s a rhythm you get used to after a while. We know most of our customers by their first names since they’ve been coming here for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Jagatdal. We just want to stay open for the folks on East Ghosh Para Road. It’s a simple life, running a shop and talking to neighbors all day long. Sometimes we run out of things, but we try to get more in by the next week. It’s a small shop and we do what we can with the space we have here.
