Partha Datta

My name is Partha Datta and I run things from 1 Aa, Pai Road in Indrapuri. This is in the 700056 area of Kolkata. If you’re trying to find the place, it’s near Amulya Bhandar. That shop is a local landmark so most people don’t have trouble getting here. It’s a small operation, really just me and a bit of help. I’ve been in this Indrapuri neighborhood for quite some time now. The office is just a room with some chairs and a desk where I do my work. It’s nothing like those big city offices you see in the movies. It’s quiet mostly, except for the usual street noise. I handle travel and other bits and pieces for people who live around Pai Road. Usually, someone knocks on the door and we sit down to talk. I don’t use much technology beyond what’s necessary. I prefer writing things down and talking face to face. It feels more real that way. Sometimes I’m out running errands, but usually, I’m around during the day. The Indrapuri area is quite residential, so I know a lot of the faces that pass by. It’s a simple life and a simple business. I don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. It’s just Partha Datta at Pai Road, helping out with whatever comes through the door. I have been here for years and plan to stay.
