Mani Tea Store

Mani Tea Store is tucked away on Archala Bagan Road in Jagatdal. If you know where the Bari Masjid is, you’ve probably walked right past us at some point. This part of 24 Parganas North is always busy, especially around the mosque during prayer times. We are just a small shop in a line of other shops, but we’ve been here long enough that people know our name. The street can be quite narrow and noisy with the rickshaws and people walking by. We just focus on keeping the store stocked with tea. It’s not a large place. There is barely enough room for all the supplies sometimes. We get our shipments in and try to keep everything organized, though it gets a bit messy when we’re busy. To be honest, we don’t do much else besides selling tea. It’s what we know. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but Archala Bagan Road still feels the same to us. We have regular customers who have been coming here since they were kids. Now they bring their own children. It’s nice to see. We don’t have any big plans to expand or anything like that. We just want to stay here near the masjid and keep doing what we do. It’s a local life and it suits us just fine. You find us by the post office area sometimes too when people are out running errands.
