Gobinda Bhander

Gobinda Bhander is our small grocery shop located in the Natagarh area of Kolkata. We are very close to Natun Para, which is a well-known spot around here. This shop has been a part of the neighborhood for quite some time. We sell all the daily essentials like rice, pulses, oil, and various spices that people use in their cooking every day. It is a typical Kolkata store, meaning it is a bit small and packed with all sorts of items from floor to ceiling. We do not have any big staff, just us family members working every day. The mornings are usually the busiest time when everyone is out buying things for their meals. We know almost everyone who lives in the nearby lanes. It is a nice feeling to be a part of the local community like this. We do not have any fancy technology or a big sign. Most people just know us by name. The streets in Natagarh can be quite narrow, so it feels very close-knit. We open early and stay open until the evening. Sometimes we just sit and talk with the customers about the weather or local news while they shop. It is a very basic way of doing business, but it has worked for us for years.
