Pathak Traders

Pathak Traders is located in Barpeta Road, specifically in Ward No-7 near the post office in Barengabari. It’s a local trading business that’s been part of this community for some time. We deal with whatever goods are needed by the folks around here. The shop is a simple building. We have some old fans that creak when they turn, and the floor is just plain concrete. We spend a lot of our time talking to farmers and local residents who come in for their supplies. It’s a slow-paced kind of life, which suits us just fine. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff. We just rely on people knowing who we are and where we are. Our records are mostly kept in big ledgers that are getting a bit worn at the edges. Sometimes the rain is so heavy we have to close the shutters for a bit, but we’re usually here from morning until the sun goes down. It’s just honest work. We try to keep our prices fair so people keep coming back month after month. There’s nothing hidden about how we operate. We are just a local shop trying to make a living and help our neighbors get what they need for their homes and farms. It’s been this way for years and we don't see ourselves changing how we do things anytime soon.
