Exotic Tour And Travels

Out here on Barpeta Road, we’ve got Exotic Tour And Travels. It’s a small office, mostly just a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while we talk about their plans. We have a lot of brochures and maps scattered around, though half of them are probably out of date by now. The road outside is usually humming with traffic, which is typical for this part of town. We spend a lot of our time looking at routes and trying to coordinate with drivers. It’s a lot of back-and-forth on the phone, as you can imagine. Sometimes people just stop in because they’re passing through and need to know the best way to get to the next town. We don’t have any fancy uniforms or a big shiny storefront. It’s just a practical space where we do our work. The tea lady comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break. We’ve seen a lot of people come and go, some going on long trips and others just needing a quick ride. It’s an interesting job because you never know who is going to walk through the door next. We just keep the records in our big ledgers and try to keep everything moving. It’s not always easy, especially when the weather is bad and the roads are a mess, but we just deal with it.
