This is the Asom Academy Of Computer Educational Institution. We are located in Bhaktardaba, which is under the Naligaon post office in Barpeta district. If you are looking for us, we are at Karim Ali’s place. It is a local setup where we teach people about computers. Technology changes so fast, so we try to show folks how to use the basic stuff they need for jobs or school. We have a few machines set up. It is not a massive lab, just enough for the students who come by from the nearby villages. Barpeta is a nice place, though it can get dusty on the roads around here. We have been running this for a while now. Most people come to us because they heard about it from a neighbor or a friend. We do not spend money on big posters. We just open the doors and start the lessons. Computer work involves a lot of sitting and looking at screens, so we take breaks and chat. It is a relaxed atmosphere. We handle the registrations and the certificates our own way. It is a small private company, mostly just family and a couple of helpers. We want people in Naligaon to have a chance to learn these skills without traveling too far away. It is simple work but it feels useful. We are usually there every weekday, unless something urgent comes up in the village. It is our way of contributing.
