Swamiji Hospital

Swamiji Hospital is located right near the Punjabi University College here in Barnala. It’s a very familiar spot for anyone who lives around the college area. We see a lot of students walking by every day, and that keeps the atmosphere around the hospital feeling pretty lively and energetic. The hospital itself is a modest place. We don't have high-tech glass walls or anything like that. It’s a solid building that’s been serving the people of Barnala for a good while. Inside, it's usually a bit of a mix—some days it is peaceful, and other days it feels like everyone in town decided to visit us at once. We do our best to manage the crowd. The staff here is mostly local, so we speak the same language as everyone else and understand what people need. We don't use any fancy talk when explaining things. If someone is sick, we just tell them what we're going to do and get to work. The proximity to the university college means we are easy to find if you’re coming from the main part of Barnala. We keep the doors open and try to stay on top of the daily cleaning and the patient charts. It is hard work, and sometimes we are really tired by the end of the shift, but that is just life. We’re just a local hospital trying to be there for our neighbors near the college. We've been part of this street for years and plan to stay.
