Sonu Mobile Clinic

Even though the name says Sonu Mobile Clinic, you can find us at Shop No 5 in the Singh Sabha Gurdwara building on Railway Road in Ahmedgarh Mandi. It is a convenient spot since the Gurdwara is a place everyone knows. The "mobile" part of our name comes from how we used to operate, but now we spend most of our time right here in the shop. The space isn't huge, but we have managed to fit everything we need into it. Railway Road is a bustling place, especially when the trains are coming through or there is a local market day. We see a lot of people from the surrounding villages who come into Ahmedgarh Mandi for their errands. They stop by the clinic for various health concerns. We have a few benches for people to sit on while they wait. The walls are a simple white, and we have a small desk for the paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, but we just open the door wider and keep going. The staff is just a couple of us who have lived in the area our whole lives. We don't have any big corporate backing or fancy marketing. We just open up the shop in the morning and see who comes in through the door. It’s a simple way to run things, but it works for the community here on Railway Road.
