Mahadev Rice Mills

Down on Kauhrian Road in Dirba, you will find Mahadev Rice Mills. We are right near the SBI of Patiyala Mandi, which is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. This part of Punjab is all about the harvest, and we are right in the middle of it. When it is season time, the place is buzzing. Tractors coming in, trucks leaving, the sound of the machinery never really stops. It gets loud and there is rice husk everywhere, but that is the life of a mill. We take the raw paddy and process it. It is not a clean or quiet job, but it is what we know. The staff here mostly live nearby. We have grown up around these fields and the Mandi. Some days the power goes out and we have to wait, or the rain slows down the drying, but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to be the biggest mill around, just one that does the job every day. The road gets a bit muddy when it pours, but the trucks still manage to get through. It is a local operation through and through. We know our neighbors and they know us. If you pass by the SBI, you will hear the mill working away. That’s just us, Mahadev Rice Mills, keeping at it day after day. We don't need fancy signs to show people what we do, the work speaks for itself.
