Garry Ice Cream Parlor

Garry Ice Cream Parlor is located right on Barnala Road. We are pretty easy to find since we're near Milan Palace and the Dominos Pizza. It’s a busy stretch of road so there’s always something happening outside our door. We opened up because we wanted to have a place of our own. Most of the time it’s just the family working behind the counter. We’ve got the usual flavors that everyone likes. The shop is small but we keep it tidy as best as we can. On hot days, the place stays pretty packed with people looking to cool down. It’s a lot of work keeping the machines running and making sure we don't run out of stock. We’ve been here for a while now and seen the neighborhood change a bit. The traffic on Barnala Road can be a headache sometimes but it brings people in. We don't have any big corporate backers or anything. It’s just us doing our thing every day. We know a lot of the regulars by name and what they usually order. It makes the day go by faster when you can chat with people. We stay open late most nights because that's when people are out walking. It’s a simple life running a parlor like this. We just keep the lights on and the ice cream cold and hope for the best.
