Elango Modern Rice Mil

We have been running this rice mil for quite some time now right by the Barnala railway station. You can hear the trains coming and going all day long while we work. It is a noisy place, and the dust from the grain is always in the air, but it is what we know. We do not have a fancy office or a big sign. Most people in Barnala just know where we are because we have been here so long. The machines are a bit old but they still do the job if you take care of them. My father started this and now we just keep it going. It is hard work, mostly moving heavy bags and making sure the machines are running right. We do not have a website or any of those modern things. We just open the gates early in the morning and wait for the farmers to come in. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit and wait, but that is just part of life here. We do not try to be the biggest mill around. We just want to do a decent job so people keep coming back. The location near the station makes it easy for the trucks to get in and out, even if the traffic gets bad sometimes. It is just a plain, honest business.
