We don’t have any big windows because that would just let the heat in. Inside, it’s a bit dark but cool. We have our desks arranged in a circle so we can easily chat while we work on resource management tasks. It’s a small operation here. We don’t have a fleet of cars or a big fancy entrance. Most of us walk or ride bikes to get here. The work we do isn't very glamorous. It’s mostly keeping track of resources and making sure the logistics are handled correctly. We’ve been in Hamir Pura for a while now, and we’ve become part of the local scenery. Sometimes the sand blows in through the cracks in the door, and we have to spend the first ten minutes of the day dusting everything off. We don’t complain about it; it’s just part of living in Barmer. We don't have any polished marketing materials to show you. We just have our work and our reputation among the locals. If you come by, we might offer you a glass of water and a seat in the shade. That’s just how we do things here in our little office.
