Our team is set up over at 28/112 Ambedkar Colony in Barmer. If you have ever been to this part of Rajasthan, you know it can get incredibly hot and the landscape is pretty dry, which definitely affects how we plan our work. We are out here to manage several projects in the region and this office serves as our main hub for the local staff. It is not a fancy place, just a basic building where we keep our records and hold our morning briefings. We spend a lot of our time out on the actual sites, so the office is often quiet during the middle of the day. The environment here is tough but we are used to it by now. We focus on getting the engineering and construction tasks done despite the sand and the heat. Most of the people working here have been with the project for a long time and know exactly what needs to be done. We don't spend a lot of time on formalities; we just get straight to the logistics and the technical problems that need solving. Communication can be a bit tricky sometimes when we are far out in the field, but we make it work with what we have. It is just honest, daily work in a challenging location where you really have to pay attention to the details or things can go wrong quickly.
