If you walk down Station Road you will eventually see our small shop. It has been Krishna Color Lab for a long time. This street is always crowded with people rushing to catch their trains or coming back home with heavy bags. We spend our days looking at photos and helping people get their prints done. Sometimes it is a passport photo for someone going abroad and other times it is just old family pictures that need a bit of a look. The machines hum in the background all day long. It gets a bit cramped in here when more than three people walk in at once. We have those old wooden counters that have seen better days. I remember when we used to deal with film rolls and the darkroom smell was everywhere. Now it is all computers and digital stuff but the feel of the shop stays the same. The tea guy comes by twice a day and that is usually the highlight of the afternoon. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name painted on the board. Most people who live around the station know where we are. It is loud outside with the horns and the station announcements but inside it is mostly quiet except for the printer clicking away. We just keep doing what we do and try to make sure the colors look okay on the paper before we hand them over to you.
