SOVIA EXPORTERS LLP

We are based in Balotra, over in the Housing Board area on Maruti Street, number 4/14. If you’ve ever been to Balotra, you know it’s a big hub for fabric processing. Our place is tucked away in a residential-looking street, but we do a lot of exporting work from here. It’s mostly paperwork and checking quality before things get sent out to other places. The house we work out of is a bit small for all the files we have, but we make it work. We have a couple of rooms filled with samples and records. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part, which is nice compared to the industrial zones. We spend a lot of time on the phone or the computer trying to track where the containers are. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with glass walls or anything like that. Just some desks, chairs, and a lot of passion for what we do. We know the local guys who do the dyeing and printing very well. We’ve lived in Barmer for a long time, so we understand how things move around here. It can be slow going sometimes, but we just keep at it. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big office, we just want to get the goods shipped on time.
