SILK SARA RESORTS PRIVATE LIMITED

We are based in Jasol at House Number 32. It is in the Jaino Ka Bass area of Barmer. Running Silk Sara Resorts is something we took up because we wanted to do something in our own hometown. Barmer is a bit out of the way for some but it is a very real part of Rajasthan. Our office is not very big. It is just a room where we keep our files and take phone calls from people wanting to visit the desert. Most of our days are spent checking on the property and making sure the staff has what they need to keep things running. It is very dusty here and the sun is really strong so maintenance is a full-time job. We don't really have a big corporate structure. It is just a few of us making decisions as they come up. The local community in Jasol is small so everyone knows where we are. We like it that way. If someone needs something they just walk over and ask. We try to keep things honest and simple. There is no need for big words or polished speeches when you are just trying to run a resort in the desert. We handle the bookings ourselves and try to make sure the guests know what to expect when they come out this way. It is a quiet life but we stay busy enough.
