Kanhaiya Masala Udyog

We are located in Kharad Village, which is part of the Dhorimanna Tehsil. Our place, Kanhaiya Masala Udyog, is right on the Sachor Road, which is a section of NH 15. Being on the national highway means there is always a lot of movement. You see cars and big trailers zooming past at all hours of the day. The post office is nearby in Dhorimanna if we ever need to send anything out. This part of the country can be quite dry and hot. Because of this, the shed gets very warm in the afternoons. We process masalas here, which involves a lot of grinding and packing. The smell is very heavy, especially when the grinders are running. We employ a few people from the village, so it feels like a community effort most of the time. We do not have any fancy signage, just the name painted on the front. The highway noise is our constant company. Most of our work is done by hand or with simple machines that we have to fix ourselves sometimes. It is a humble setup, but it works for us. Living and working in Kharad means we know everyone around here. We just want to get through the day's work and make sure the bags are loaded onto the trucks before it gets dark.
