We are located out on NH-15 Gadan Road, near the Police Chandmari Range and the News Club. Our office is right by the Cairn office, which is a big landmark in this area. At Kiri Company Logistics, we deal with trucks and cargo all day long. The yard is usually dusty and there is a constant sound of engines idling or reversing. We have a small office building where we keep track of where everything is going. It is a lot of phone calls to drivers and checking manifests to make sure the loads are right. We do not have any fancy furniture; it is just metal desks and some old filing cabinets that have seen a lot of use. The highway is right there, so we see a lot of traffic passing by. Our team is small and most of us have been working together for a long time. We know the routes well and we know how to deal with the problems that come up on the road. It is a tough job because things can go wrong at any time of the night. We do not have a polished image or a corporate mission. We just try to get the trucks loaded and sent out on time. It is a basic logistics operation run by people who are used to the heat and the long hours.
