Our place is over on Gourmohan Lane in Baripada. If you know the Lalbazar area, we're right in there. Orissa has plenty of steel work going on, and we’re just one part of that. We spend most of our time dealing with metal, loading trucks, and making sure the inventory counts are right. It’s loud and it’s dusty, but that’s just how it is with steel. We’ve got a small crew here. Most of them live nearby in Mayurbhanj. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the orders we have for the week. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half a day fixing them, which is frustrating but part of the job. The office is small and tucked away in the corner of the lot. We’ve been here long enough that everyone knows where to find us. We don't do anything fancy with the way we run things. We just take the orders, process the steel, and get it out the door. It’s hard work, and the days are long, especially in the summer. We try to keep things organized, but it’s a constant battle with all the heavy material moving around. We’re just a local business trying to keep things moving. We aren't fancy and we don't try to be. We just work hard and go home. Some days are easier than others but we keep going regardless.
