Laxmi Drugs

Laxmi Drugs is located over in Lalbazar. Most people find us by looking for the Tarini Temple, since we’re right near there. Being so close to the temple means there is always a bit of a crowd and plenty of activity, which we like. It makes the day go by faster when there’s noise and people moving around outside. We’ve been in Lalbazar for quite a while now and it’s where we feel most comfortable. The shop isn’t huge, but we make use of every inch of space we have. We spend a lot of time organizing the shelves and making sure we can find things quickly when someone asks. It’s just a regular local business, nothing too fancy or modern. We use simple tools and keep our own records the old-fashioned way mostly. The temple is a great landmark, so we never really have to give complicated directions to anyone. We just tell them to head towards the Tarini Temple in Lalbazar and they usually find us without any trouble. It’s a good community to be in, and we know many of the other shop owners on the street. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we’re just here to provide what folks need and keep our small business running year after year. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we lock up at night.
