Engtecs

You can find Engtecs over in Baripada, Orissa, specifically located C/O Gopinath Barik. It’s a modest setup in a part of the country that doesn't always get the most attention, but we like it that way. We don't have a big fancy building with our name in lights. It’s more of a personal operation where we handle technical projects for people in the area. Baripada is a place where everybody knows everybody, so your reputation is everything. We try to be honest about what we can do and how long it will take. Sometimes parts are hard to find or the delivery is late, and we just have to deal with those frustrations as they come. It’s not a high-stress corporate environment, but we do put in long hours when a project is nearing its end. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate talk; we just have a list of things that need to get done today. The space we work in is usually full of books, tools, and half-finished drawings. It might look like a mess to an outsider, but we know where everything is. We take pride in being a local fixture in Baripada and helping out our neighbors with their technical needs. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and it keeps us busy enough that we don't have time to worry about much else.
