We are based in Ward No-5 of Jada Village. It is a small place in the Bhatli Tehsil. Our shop is on Dharmashala Gali, which is a narrow little street. It is quite close to the Station Road, so we get some of the traffic from people coming into the village by train. The gali can be a bit tight if two people are trying to pass with bicycles, but it stays fairly quiet otherwise. We are just a local trading company. Our office is a simple room with some old ledgers and a couple of chairs. The walls are a bit plain and the floor is just concrete. It is easy to find us if you ask anyone near the station. We do not have any big advertisements or glowing signs. We prefer it this way. The village life moves at its own pace and we do not try to rush it. During the day, you might hear the distant sound of the trains or the local temple bells. We spend a lot of time just talking to the people who stop by for trade. It is a very manual way of doing things, lots of handwriting and personal handshakes. There is not any air conditioning, so we just use the ceiling fan to keep cool. It has been our home for many years and we know every stone in Dharmashala Gali. It is a practical setup for what we need to do in the Bhatli area, and we are quite content.
