Vishakha Travels

Our office is right here in Prem Nagar at number 302, which isn't too hard to find if you know where the post office is. We are close to Dhobhi Churaha in Bareilly, and the traffic there is always something else. Most days we are just sitting here handling whatever comes through the door. People stop by because they need to get somewhere, and we try to figure out the best way for them to do that. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the front of the building. We’ve got a few desks and some chairs for people to wait while we look things up on the screen. It’s a basic setup. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait, which gives us time to talk about the weather or how the road is getting fixed again. The neighborhood is busy with folks going to the post office or just passing through. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, so the locals know where to find us. There isn't much to the office, just the usual papers and calendars on the wall. We keep the tea kettle going for when it gets quiet. It’s mostly about getting the work done and making sure the tickets are printed right before someone has to catch their bus or train. Nothing fancy happens here, just the daily routine of a travel office in Bareilly. We stay open until the last customer is sorted out and the shutter goes down.
