Viduraj Hospital

You can find Viduraj Hospital over in the Rampur Garden area. It’s a place that has been part of the neighborhood for a long time. The street outside is lined with trees, but it gets busy during the peak hours. We have a small gate at the entrance and a bit of space for parking a few bikes. The hospital isn't a massive skyscraper; it’s more of a spread-out building. We have a few wards and some private rooms. The paint on the walls is a light green that’s supposed to be calming, though it’s faded over the years. Our staff stays busy with the daily routine of checking temperatures and handing out medicine. At night, it’s much quieter, and you can hear the crickets from the garden nearby. We have a small reception area where we keep the patient files in big metal cupboards. Sometimes the fans squeak a bit, but we’re used to it. The families of the patients often sit out on the benches near the entrance to get some fresh air. It feels like a very local place because most of the staff lives just a short walk away. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just running a hospital for the people in Rampur Garden. It’s a lot of hard work, but we are here every single day. The routine keeps us going from one morning to the next.
