Umang Overseas

Our place is at 35/C/2 in Rampur Garden. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s pretty calm compared to the main market. Umang Overseas is run from this spot, and we’ve been here long enough that the neighbors all know us by name. We handle a lot of shipping and export stuff, which means there are always boxes and labels lying around the entrance. It can get a bit cluttered during the busy season when a lot of orders go out at once. We don’t have a big staff, just a few people who handle the documentation and talk to the suppliers on the phone. Sometimes the internet goes out and we have to wait for the technician to show up, which can be frustrating when you've got emails to send out. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. We try to keep things organized, but when you're dealing with overseas logistics, things can get complicated quickly. We don’t bother with big slogans or anything. We just make sure the goods get from point A to point B without getting lost. It’s practical work and it keeps us on our toes every single day. There is always a container to track or a bill of lading to sign.
