Thresher Corner Foundation

The Thresher Corner Foundation is located in Balaji Dham Colony, right off Lalfatak Road. Neelam Singh is the person who looks after everything here. The address is 243001, which is a busy area with a lot of movement. The name of the foundation comes from the agricultural roots of the area, as threshers are a common sight around here. We are not a corporate office. It is just a small space where we manage our activities for the local community. The road outside can be quite noisy with all the traffic heading towards Lalfatak, but inside it is usually just us working on the next project. We started this because we saw that a lot of the workers and families in the colony needed some extra support. We do not have a lot of money or any big sponsors. It is just a local initiative run by people who live right here. Most days you will find Neelam or one of the others just sitting at the desk handling whatever comes up. People from the colony drop by to share their troubles or just to get some advice. We do not try to be anything special. We are just a group of neighbors on Lalfatak Road trying to help each other out in a way that makes sense for our lives. It is simple and practical work.
