Target Centre

We’ve been here at No. 179 Civil Line for a while now, running the Target Centre. It’s a pretty busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to work. Most people know the building because of the big gate. It’s not anything fancy, just a regular place where we get things done. I usually get in around nine and the first thing I do is check if the mail came. Civil Line is one of those areas that stays loud until late at night. Sometimes I just stand outside and watch the traffic go by. It’s mostly offices around here, so you see the same faces every day. The walls inside could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We just focus on the daily tasks. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We have a small desk for visitors, though we don’t get too many walk-ins. Mostly it’s just us doing our thing. The street is lined with trees, which is nice in the summer. You get some shade at least. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we go when we need a break. It's nothing special, just a place to work. We like being here because it's central and easy for everyone to find.
